tried to do a police sketch. i had no idea what the man on the right looked like other than the description my mom gave me. i think i got fairly close but that drawing will forever haunt me.

i had been drawing my grandma over summer break. she mentioned to me that i always drew her with saggy boobs and that she had to go purchase a bra because of it. i told her i would draw a better picture of her. this is how it came out.
visited my long time friend Rami. i grew up with him and we went to preschool together. i hadn't seen him in years and it was so great to get to spend time together in colorado.
the two kids on the right we met on a train. we struck up some conversation and they told us that they had a bus they needed to catch or else they would have to walk 8 miles home. when we arrived at our final stop we saw them running to catch the bus. they had missed it so we gave them a ride home. we stopped by dairy queen to get some ice cream and i sketched them there.

one of the first time i had tried watercolor in years. i had so much fun painting with my grandma and liked how it turned out. i had been telling her that we would find time to paint together and was glad when we finally did.
whenever i try and draw my brother he always decides to make himself look as attractive as possible, posing and looking off into the distance dramatically. to me, this is boring and i would much rather draw candids. so i draw him like this instead.
